Seven-a-Side Interloop Hockey begins today

LAHORE: Pakistan’s premier hockey development centre, Dar Hockey Academy, is set to stage the 7-a-side Interloop Hockey Tournament from Monday (today) to Thursday at APS Model High School, Model Town, Lahore.

Recognising that competition is the ultimate driver of excellence, the academy frequently organizes high-quality tournaments to nurture young players and foster skill development for the national hockey set-up.

The tournament features six school teams, competing in a two-pool format, with the top teams from each pool advancing to the final on May 8. Participating Teams: Aitchison College, Crescent Model School, Model High School Model Town, Government High School Manga Mandi, APS Model High School Model Town (Team A), APS Model High School Model Town (Team B)

Renowned hockey figures have been appointed to oversee the competition: Danish Kaleem (World Cup Winner, 1994) – Tournament Organising Secretary, Olympian Tariq Imran – Technical Delegate.
