Teenager shot dead by muggers at doorstep

In yet another tragic incident, robbers shot dead a teenage boy and injured another in the Zaman Town police limits in District Korangi on Friday.
A cousin of the deceased said 18-year-old Saqib, son of Mukhtiar, was sitting outside his home near a mosque when two robbers came, slapped him and snatched his mobile phone. When the Saqib stood up, one of the robbers shot him dead. The muggers also shot and injured another cousin of the victim, 19-year-old Ehtesham, son of Fazal Ahmed, when he raised the alarm and shouted for help. The suspects fled after the shooting. The casualties were moved to Jinnah Hospital.
