BARA: Minister for Livestock and Fisheries Fazal Hakim Khan on Tuesday said that the government was taking steps to boost livestock and fisheries sectors.
Talking to reporters during his visit to Bara tehsil in Khyber tribal district, he said that it was among top priorities of the government to create jobs by boosting the livestock and fisheries.Member National Assembly (MNA) Iqbal Afridi, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Abdul Ghani Afridi and other relevant officials were present.
The minister inspected various dairy and poultry farms in Akakhel and Shalobar areas in Bara where he was briefed by relevant authorities.He said that the purpose of this visit was to review the ongoing development projects in the livestock and fisheries sectors. The minister said the government was taking steps to facilitate the livestock farmers.
Abdul Ghani Afridi said that the government was providing more facilities to farmers. He further added that the farming sector would be strengthened in Bara.He maintained that the government was facilitating the tribal people in various sectors as they had suffered a lot.
