UET faculty, staff get 25pc raise

LAHORE:The Syndicate of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has approved a 25% salary increase for the university’s faculty and staff.
UET Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir presided over the meeting. The salary raise will be effective from April 2025. It is noteworthy that the demand for a 25% salary increase had been pending for the past nine months. Various associations, including the Teaching Staff Association, expressed their gratitude and paid tribute to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Munir for his leadership. On this occasion, Dr Shahid Munir stated that the welfare of the employees remained his top priority and assured that such initiatives would be continued in the future.
