Thesis defended

PESHAWAR: Sheraz Ahmad Sherazi has successfully defended his Master of Science (MS) thesis at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI).

His research, titled “Repatriation of Afghan Refugees from Pakistan: A Framing Analysis of Daily Dawn and Kabul Times,” examined how the Pakistani and Afghan media frame the complex issue of Afghan refugee repatriation. Dr Roohul Amin Khan, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Media and Communication Studies at IIUI, supervised the thesis. Dr Shabbir Hussain, Professor at Bahria University Islamabad, served as his external supervisor, and Dr Qurat ul Ain, Professor at IIUI, acted as the internal supervisor.
