KOHAT: Five persons, including two women, were killed and three others sustained injuries when relatives traded fire over a property dispute in Warshand area here on Friday.
Senior District Emergency Officer 1123, Kohat, Muhammad Arif Khattak said the clash erupted between the relatives over a land dispute. Upon receiving the alert, he said, the police and Rescue 1122 teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies and injured to the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Islam, Muhammad Kalam, Ubaidullah, wife of Mustafa and wife of Haroon. Those injured in the incident include: Muhammad Hussain, Amjad Iqbal and Riffat Sultan.Officials said the police have registered the case and raids were being conducted to apprehend the accused.
