ISLAMABAD: The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Chaudhry Amir Zia on Tuesday extended the interim bail of Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan, in November 26 Islamabad protest case.
The court ordered investigation officer to interrogate Bushra Bibi in jail. During the hearing on the pre-arrest bail application, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry Advocate appeared before the court on behalf of Bushra Bibi, while Special Public Prosecutors Barrister Fahad Arsalan Chaudhry, Muhammad Usman Rana Advocate, and Barrister Mansoor Azam appeared on behalf of the government.
The defence lawyers requested Bushra Bibi’s exemption from presence. The court adjourned the hearing of the case until May 6.
