Security situation in Kohat discussed
KOHAT: A meeting of the Divisional Intelligence Coordination Committee on Friday reviewed the law and order across the Kohat Division.
Commissioner Kohat Division Syed Mutasim Billah Shah chaired the meeting at the Commissioner House in Kohat. Regional Police Officer Kohat, deputy commissioners and district police officers from all districts of the division, as well as senior officers from the Pakistan Army and heads of intelligence agencies attended the meeting. The participants were briefed on the current security landscape, measures to prevent crime, anti-terrorism efforts and strategies to enhance inter-district coordination.
Speaking at the meeting, Commissioner Mutasim Billah Shah emphasized the importance of close coordination and mutual cooperation among all law enforcement and intelligence agencies to maintain peace and stability in the region. He directed the district administrations and police officers to further strengthen security measures and ensure the protection of citizens.
