Man killed in Dir firing incident

DIR: One person was killed and two others sustained injuries in a firing incident at the bus terminal here on Thursday. Eyewitnesses and police officials said an unidentified person opened fire on a Peshawar-bound passenger van, killing one person on the spot and leaving two others, including the driver, injured.
The slain person was identified as Hazir Rahman, son of Sher Zaman, from Sangar Dobando area. The injured persons were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. The attacker managed to escape after the incident.
