KARACHI: The World Boxing Council (WBC) silver title bout of Pakistan’s professional boxer Mohammad Waseem which was scheduled to be held in Singapore on July 17 has been shifted to South Korea.
The fight between Waseem and experienced pro Jether Oliva of Philippines will now be held at Hilton Hotel in Seoul.
Initially it was an ordinary fight but WBC last month turned it into a world silver title fight. If Waseem wins, he will be among the top four of the world.
Waseem is training in Las Vegas at the boxing club of renowned boxer Floyd Mayweather Junior.
