KOHAT: The police and security forces on Tuesday launched a large-scale crackdown against terrorists and their facilitators in the mountainous areas of Kohat and Karak, destroyed several hideouts
Officials said that multiple hideouts used by the militants were destroyed and set ablaze during the targeted action.Regional Police Officer (RPO), Kohat range, Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that the joint operation was conducted under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Shehbaz Elahi. The forces carried out a successful “Search and Strike” mission in Bahadarkhel and surrounding areas, targeting terrorist elements. Several secret hideouts used by facilitators were identified and completely demolished, the official said.Authorities affirmed that efforts to eliminate terrorism from the Kohat region will continue relentlessly, and all those aiding terrorist activities will be pursued to the very end.
