Improvements list
The Sindh police are kindly requested to issue a warning to all vehicle owners, especially motor-cyclists, to ensure that the front and back lights of their vehicles are functional. Traffic police should carry out inspections at night to ensure compliance with such orders. Proper maintenance of vehicles should also be ensured. Also, if possible, at least on main roads/streets, speed breakers should be coloured in yellow to make them visible, especially at night.
This will help motorists to avoid sudden jerks to the vehicles, which often lead to road accidents. All traffic signals that are currently out-of-order should immediately be made functional for smooth flow of traffic. A traffic signal or small underpass is also needed at Jauhar Morr in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of Karachi.
