Three killed in Kabirwala road accident

KABIRWALA: Two women and a child were killed while a motorcyclist was critically injured in a road accident here on Tuesday.

Bashiran Bibi, Robina Bibi, Adnan and a child were on their way when a milk collecting tanker of a local milk processing factory overturned and fell on a motorcycle near Makhdoompur Interchange on Kabirwala Road.

As a result, Bashiran Bibi and Robina Bibi and a child were killed on the spot while Adnan sustained critical injuries. The injured man was shifted to the THQ Hospital in Kabirwala.

The Rescue 1122 said that the accident occurred due to a break failure. However, a preliminary investigation by the Sadr police showed that the tanker overturned after one of its tyre burst. The driver escaped leaving behind the tanker. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
