SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday visited the houses built for flood victims in Larkana under the Sindh People’s Housing for Flood Affectees (SPHF) programme.
During his visit to Allah Warrayo Solangi village in Naudero, he was briefed by Sindh Rural Support Organisation CEO Dithal Kalhoro and Deputy Commissioner Sharjeel Noor Chana that 88 out of 224 houses have been built in the village under the programme.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with the flood-affected women and informed them about the details of the houses. He assured that ownership rights of the houses will be given to their owners after Eid, preferably to women.
The PPP chief also visited the houses built for the flood-affected people in Soni Faqirani village of Rato Dero.
He was told that 24 out of 32 houses have been built in the village. Bilawal gave land ownership rights to four flood-affected women in Soni Faqirani village.
He said after getting ownership rights, the houses will become an asset to villagers for generations.
