ISLAMABAD: Exercising his constitutional powers under Clause 1 of Article 54, President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned the National Assembly at Parliament House on Monday, April 7, 2025.
The session of the National Assembly on April 7th will be the 15th session of the Sixteenth National Assembly. According to sources, the government, in the upcoming session of the National Assembly, aims to introduce legislation for legal reforms to ensure the swift dispensation of justice, particularly in terrorism-related cases. It is to be mentioned that, a few days ago, Federal Minister for Law Azam Nazir Tarar chaired the meeting of the committee constituted under the revised National Action Plan, tasked with reviewing counter-terrorism measures, violent extremism, addressing legislative gaps, which was attended by provincial law ministers.
