Traffic plan for Chand Raat and Eid
Rawalpindi: The City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has issued a special traffic plan on occasions of ‘Chand Raat’ and Eidul Fitr for smooth flow of traffic.
According to the plan which was issued with approval of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Rawalpindi, Beenish Fatema, as many as DSPs, 138 Inspectors and 498 traffic wardens and assistant traffic wardens would perform their duties.
They would perform duties at main shopping centres, markets and malls on eve of ‘Chand Raat’. They would also be deputed at Eidgahs during performance of Namaz of Eid. Over 52 traffic officers would be deputed at public parks and other recreational places. While performing duties, they would also keep vigilant eye on traffic violations and movement of vehicles without registration numbers.
