ISLAMABAD: The government will soon establish a One Window Facilitation Centre to streamline business processes and attract large-scale investments, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production Haroon Akhtar Khan announced on Monday during a meeting with Engro Corporation Chairman Hussain Dawood.
Khan said the move was part of broader efforts to restore business community’s confidence, ease regulatory hurdles, and foster industrial growth. He underscored the pivotal role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in drawing both domestic and foreign investment.
“Public-private collaboration is key to unlocking Pakistan’s industrial potential,” Khan stated, reaffirming the government’s commitment to sustainable economic development. Hussain Dawood lauded the government’s pro-business initiatives, expressing optimism about improving the overall investment climate. Both Khan and Dawood emphasised the need for institutional investment and private sector participation to accelerate the country’s economic progress.
