SHC dismisses NAB appeal against ex-PSM chief’s acquittal as withdrawn
A high court division bench headed by Justice Omar Sial dismissed the appeals as withdrawn

KARACHI: The SHC dismissed appeals filed by the NAB against the acquittal of former Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) chairman and others in corruption references.
An accountability court had acquitted former PSM chief Moin Aftab and others in four references pertaining to charges of misuse of authority and corrupt practices causing losses to the national exchequer. NAB’s special public prosecutor confirmed that the relevant authority had decided to withdraw appeals against the former PSM chief and others. A high court division bench headed by Justice Omar Sial dismissed the appeals as withdrawn.
