63 cops awarded performance certificates, cash rewards
LAHORE:SSP (Discipline) Asim Iftikhar Kamboh awarded certificates of appreciation and cash rewards to 63 officers and policemen who have made notable contributions to serving the general public. Among those honoured were Inspector Mudassar Khan, Sub-Inspector Ghulam Rasool, ASI Muhammad Zulfiqar, Head Constable Shahid Ahmad and Constable Syed Shabbir Basharat. On the occasion, SSP (Discipline) lauded the dedication of the recipients and encouraged them to continue their hard work.
He expressed hope that the policemen will continue to deliver excellent performance in the future. Speaking on the occasion, Asim Iftikhar Kamboh emphasised that policemen with superior performance must continue to use their best abilities to provide relief to the citizens. CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana reiterated that such recognitions would continue at all levels. He said that the motivation of policemen was critical to enhancing the police’s mission to serve the public. Those with outstanding performances should continue to perform their duties with even greater dedication and hard work, he concluded. Bilal Siddique Kamyana added that hardworking, honest and dutiful officers are the true assets of the police department. The award-winning personnel expressed their commitment to further improving their performance in the future.
IG issues directives for cops’ relief
Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar met with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office. He listened to the problems of police employees and issued orders for immediate relief.
On the transfer request of DSP Saulat Batool, IGP directed the DIG Headquarters to provide relief. He instructed CPO Faisalabad to provide relief on the promotion request of Inspector Tahir Javed Aslam.
On the request of Traffic Warden Shahbaz, the IG directed SP Investigation Sheikhupura to provide Similarly instructions were given to DIG Welfare and Finance and DIG Admin Lahore for relief on the applications of Ghazi Constable Tahir Siddique. Dr Usman Anwar also issued orders on other applications related to discipline, admin, promotion and welfare.
