Smuggled mobile phones worth millions seized

LAHORE:In a major operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, Customs authorities, acting on secret information provided by Collector Customs Tayyaba Kiani, seized a large quantity of smuggled iPhones.
According to a Customs spokesperson, the raid targeted a passenger arriving from Bangkok. The suspect, identified as Malik Shahid Hussain, a resident of Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, was found in possession of 102 high-value mobile phones worth millions of rupees. The operation was carried out by a customs team led by Deputy Collector Mudassar Rafiq. Upon inspection, the smuggled phones were recovered from the suspect’s luggage. The accused was taken into custody, and a case was registered against him.
