ISLAMABAD: PMLN Parliamentary Party Leader in the Senate and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Senator Irfan Siddiqui stated that the boycott of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security meeting is fully in line with the politics of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“Only this party (PTI) could prioritise insisting on meeting a convicted prisoner over formulating a strategy to counter terrorism, which has claimed the lives of 93,000 Pakistanis,” he said in a statement on social media platform “X”.
Senator Irfan Siddiqui remarked that this is the same prisoner who, even during his tenure as prime minister, never attended any parliamentary forum on national security.
