BANNU: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI) has distributed Rs 2.5 million among the victims and families affected by the Bannu Cantonment blast to support their rehabilitation.
The amount was distributed among the victims, including families of martyrs, injured victims and those whose homes were damaged in the blast, at a gathering at the residence of JUIF leader Malik Abrar Khan in Kot Adil. Bannu Mayor Irfan Durani, senior JUIF leader Maulana Abdul Hadi, general secretary Maulana Jalal Shah, Qari Mustaqeem Shah, Malik Naeem Khan, Shuaib Surani, Malik Ghulam Khan and other party leaders and elders attended the meeting.
During the event, the collected amount of Rs2.5 million was distributed among the families of martyrs, injured victims, and those whose homes were damaged in the blast.
Speaking at the event, Mayor Irfan Durrani, Maulana Jalal Shah, Malik Abrar Khan, and other leaders emphasised that JUIF has always stood by the people of Bannu in difficult times. They highlighted that the party had previously collected Rs600 million in donations for the people of Palestine and has consistently provided relief to victims of natural disasters and bomb blasts across the province, including Malakand.
The JUIF leaders reiterated their commitment to serving not only the cause of religion but also the welfare and well-being of the public.
