Absurd and unethical

The world has categorically rejected and condemned US President Donald Trump’s plan to take over Gaza and forcibly displace Palestinian people to neighbouring countries from the coastal territory. Any plan to forcibly deport Palestinians against their will is a war crime and, when committed as a part of a widespread and systematic attack on the civilian population, it would constitute a crime against humanity. Most world leaders consider this proposal and plan unlawful, appalling, and absurd. Taking control of Gaza for the sake of redeveloping it through forced displacement of Palestinians from their homeland is tantamount to ethnic cleansing. Using the language of threats and intimidation against Palestinians will not serve the cause of durable peace in the region. The stability and resolution of the Israel-Palestine conflict in the Middle East lies in the establishment of two states.
