Ramazan security measures
LAHORE:Lahore Police has implemented extraordinary security measures to ensure the safety of citizens during the holy month of Ramazan. Security has been intensified, particularly during Sehri, Iftar, and other prayer times, with strict monitoring at mosques and checkpoints at key locations.
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran remained present in the field during all prayer times and conducted surprise visits to various mosques to personally review security arrangements. According to DIG Operations, a comprehensive security plan is being enforced for 5,059 mosques across the city. For Category A mosques, 218 locations have been assigned one officer and six personnel each. Category B includes 776 mosques, while Category C covers 4,065 mosques, all of which are provided full security.
