National Games’ toppers to be rewarded thru Endowment Fund

LAHORE:Punjab’s top performing athletes will be awarded scholarships from Sports Endowment Fund on the basis of their performance in the 35th National Games which are scheduled to be organized at Karachi from May 6 to 14, 2025.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar made this announcement in a statement on Wednesday. Faisal Khokhar said that Punjab contingent will participate in 35th National Games with complete preparations. “Strict directions have been issued to provincial selection committees to select all Punjab teams purely on merit,” he added.

He further said that Punjab athletes had exhibited wonderful performance in Inter-Provincial Quaid-e-Azam Games and now we expect that our players will maintain their level of performance in mega event of National Games.

He said that the training camps of Punjab teams for the preparation of 35th National Games will be conducted under the supervision of qualified coaches after Ramazan ul Mubarak. “Sports Board Punjab will provide best facilities to all coaches during training camps”. He said that Punjab province has plenty of potential in all game disciplines. “Several talented athletes were emerged during Khelta Punjab Games,” he added.
