LGH gets 5 senior doctors
LAHORE:The Punjab government Wednesday appointed four professors of grade 20 and one associate professor of grade 19 for various departments of the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Amiruddin Medical College and Lahore General Hospital.
Dr Nighat Haroon Khan, Professor of Radiology, Dr Atif Shehzad, professor of Dermatology, Dr. Khurram Saleem, professor of Medicine, Dr Tahira Saleem, professor of Physiology and Dr Maryam Atif, associate professor of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology have assumed charge of their respective departments.
Principal AMC Prof Dr Al-Fareed Zafar said with the arrival of new doctors a visible improvement in treatment facilities for patients and standard of education and training of young doctors will get improved. The newly appointed doctors met Principal Prof Al-Fareed Zafar and assured him that they would increase the dignity of the institution.
