Cabinet forms panel to review UNCAC report on Pakistan
Ministry of Law and Justice will submit its recommendations to the cabinet within 14 days
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet has constituted a committee to review the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) country report on Pakistan.
The committee, chaired by the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, will consist of seven members. The committee will review Pakistan’s UNCAC country report. The members include the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, the Minister of State for Finance and Revenue, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, the Secretary of Finance, the Secretary of Law and Justice, and the Director-General of the NAB.
The committee will present recommendations regarding the publication of the country report on Pakistan. The Ministry of Law and Justice will submit its recommendations to the cabinet within 14 days.
