ISLAMABAD: Leading a high-level delegation, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Muhamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is arriving here today (Thursday) on his maiden official visit to Pakistan.

He has been invited by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During the visit, he will engage in wide-ranging interactions with the leadership of Pakistan to exchange views on matters of mutual interest, reinforce historical bonds and promote economic as well as investment cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and some ministers will also have meetings with the visiting dignitary. It has been officially stated that the crown prince would be accompanied by a high-level delegation including ministers and senior officials as well as prominent business leaders. The visit underscores the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and reflects the shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral economic partnership. Several agreements and Memorandums of Understandings (MoUs) will be signed during the visit to bolster the existing robust framework for long-term collaboration in multifaceted sectors between the two sides. These commitments are expected to open new opportunities for joint ventures and projects aimed at furthering economic cooperation between the two countries and their peoples.
