LAHORE:A Career Expo was held at GCU here on Tuesday, inaugurated by Punjab’s Minister for Higher Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, and Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali underscored the role of universities in equipping students with the skills required to navigate professional challenges. He noted that over 50 national and international organisations participated in the Career Fair at the university’s Oval Ground, representing key sectors such as information technology, banking, and the armed forces.

The stalls set up by the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force remained a focal point, attracting significant student interest. Many students also took the opportunity to pay tribute to the country’s armed forces.
