105 properties sealed
LAHORE: LDA teams on Monday conducted operations against illegal commerAcial buildings and commercial fee defaulters and sealed 105 properties.
The operations were conducted in Gulberg, Faisal Town, Shadman, Shah Jamal, New Muslim Town, Shad Bagh, Allama Iqbal Town. The properties include private schools, restaurants, workshops, food points, shops, offices, etc. Several notices were given to the owners of the properties before the operation. Meanwhile, LDA DG Tahir Farooq visited Quaid-i-Azam Town, Township and reviewed the construction of the link road from Madar-e-Millat Road to Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Road. Briefing the DG on the ongoing works, the Project Director said the LDA has started the construction, repair and rehabilitation of the road on the long-closed link in the township. The construction of a 1.3-kilometer two-lane road will provide convenience to citizens and it will link Madar Millat Road on one side and Chaudhry Rehmat Ali Road on the other.
