Pakistan cricket captain Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha fulfilled the expectations of Pakistanis by achieving the country’s first-ever successful 350-plus run chase in one-day international (ODI) cricket. The captain and vice-captain saved Pakistan from a home defeat against South Africa in the second match of the 2025 Pakistan Tri-Nation series. And while Pakistan lost in the final of the series to New Zealand, this historic victory was a very proud moment for us as a nation.
Rizwan proved himself as a captain by taking the burden of the match. It is hoped that we can match this victory in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
