IIU staff body gets new office-bearers

International Islamic University President Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh has assured the newly elected office-bearers of the University Staff Welfare Association of his full support and cooperation and said all efforts would be made for the welfare of staff members.
The assurance was made when a USWA delegation led by newly elected president of the association Muhammad Tariq Khan called on Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh in his office here on Tuesday.
The USWA election 2016 took place recently with more than 1,800 employees participating in it. The Mazdoor Itehad Group won all seats by securing 840 votes. The Insaf Group was the runner-up with 538 votes followed by the Pasban Group with 409 votes.
