In many parts of Khairpur, households are struggling to cook food because there is no gas available for long hours. Businesses, especially hotels, tandoors, and small factories, are also badly affected as they depend on gas for their work. The lack of gas supply is making it hard for people to earn a living. On top of all this, the increase in gas bills has made things worse for the common man. People are being forced to pay higher bills even when they are not getting a reliable supply of gas. This issue is not just the fault of the current government but also of the past governments, which failed to plan properly.
The gas shortage in Pakistan did not happen overnight – it has been developing for years due to poor management and lack of proper policies. Instead of blaming each other, political leaders should work together to find a solution. The opposition and the government must stop wasting time on arguments and focus on solving this serious problem.
