­59 properties sealed

LAHORE:LDA teams conducted operation against illegal commercial buildings and commercial fee defaulters and sealed 59 properties here on Monday.

They conducted operations in Gulberg, Shadman, Shah Jamal, Samanabad, Shad Bagh and sealed 59 properties, including private schools, restaurants, salons, food points, shops and offices. Several notices were given to these properties before the operation. Meanwhile, on the instructions of LDA DG Tahir Farooq, the LDA and the district administration also conducted an operation against illegal encroachments.

The LDA Enforcement Squad and the district administration conducted a joint operation from Raiwind Road, Adda Plot to Sher Shah Signal. During the operation, encroachments were removed from several properties.
