Mohsin Naqvi credits teamwork for stadium upgradation success
ISLAMABAD: Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) termed the upgradation of Stadiums as an outcome of teamwork, supported by all who had a role to play in achieving this challenging job.
He was responding to PCB Board of Governor members who congratulated him on achieving the target in a record time.
“It was the outcome of teamwork. All those who have some role to play in the upgradation made it possible. It is not my individual success but the success of the entire team,” Mohsin Naqvi, said.
“You have made the impossible possible. With the completion of this project, all propaganda has been dispelled. Congratulations to Mohsin Naqvi and the entire team,” members Board of Governors said.
“We are also astonished. It’s hard to believe that the stadium is completed,” Board of Governors members unanimously, said.
“This is not my achievement. The success is the result of the hard work of our entire team. I am grateful to Allah that our sincere efforts have borne fruit,” the PCB Chairman said.
The PCB GB meeting was held Saturday with all members congratulating the Chairman on accepting the challenge and completing the tough upgrade job in a record time.
“ The remarkable completion of stadiums in such a short period was made possible only through hard work and dedication. We are also surprised, and it is hard to believe that the stadium is completed.”
“We didn’t care about the criticism, and with Allah’s help, we moved forward. My team, especially the workers, made this dream a reality,” Mohsin Naqvi emphasized.
The meeting also approved various matters of the PCB, and decisions from the previous Board of Governors meeting were ratified.
The meeting concluded with a special prayer by Anwar Ghani. Participants in the meeting included Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer PSL Salman Naseer, Chief Financial Officer Javed Murtaza Board of Governors members Zaheer Abbas, Anwar Ghani, Daniyal Gilani, Tariq Sarwar, Sajjad Ali Khokhar, Zafar Ullah, and others.
