Gandapur reassures imprisoned leader of his unwavering support
PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Friday asserted that no one in the province had the courage to engage in injustice, political victimization or oppression.
Speaking in response to a social media post by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, Gandapur reassured the imprisoned leader of his unwavering support. “Imran Khan, you will be released soon, Insha Allah. Until then, PTI will fulfill the responsibility you entrusted to us as workers,” he stated.
The chief minister said that PTI supporters had already demonstrated their commitment and would continue to follow Imran Khan’s directives. He vowed that he would spare no effort to make sacrifices for the cause of the PTI.
Imran Khan, the former prime minister and PTI leader, remains incarcerated on multiple legal charges, with his party actively campaigning for his release.
