Real-estate relief

The real estate sector is overburdened with unjustified taxes and has been stagnant since around 2016 due to the harsh steps taken by the taxation authorities. The stakeholders and the real-estate fraternity have been waiting for relief for some time now and it is hoped that the prime minister’s new construction package will be just that.
Such relief would not only benefit the real-estate sector but also help increase government revenues.
