IBA’s Annual Career Fair draws large number of students

The IBA Karachi hosted its Annual Career Fair 2025, organized by the IBA Career Development Centre (IBA-CDC), at the IBA Main Campus on Tuesday. This year’s theme ‘Think Next’ captured the bold and innovative spirit of students and the limitless opportunities awaiting them.

The Career Fair 2025 witnessed an impressive turnout, with over 170 companies and some seasoned professionals serving as mentors. Representatives from various sectors, including banking and financial institutions, information technology, manufacturing, food and beverages, retail energy and resources, service sector, textiles, and pharmaceuticals engaged with the diverse pool of talented students at the IBA.

Inaugurating the ceremony, Executive Director IBA Dr S Akbar Zaidi said that the Annual Career Fair at the IBA provides students with a vital platform to engage with industry leaders, explore career opportunities, and gain valuable insights, reflecting our commitment to producing highly employable graduates who secure jobs or launch ventures even during their academic journey.

The Head of the IBA-CDC, Syed Atif Murtaza Qaiser; Lead HR Business Partner, National Bank of Pakistan, Faiza Faisal; HR Head, Tafsol Technologies, Adeel Asim; and Manager Organizational Development, Meezan Bank, Syed Danish Ali also spoke at the session.

The Career Fair 2025 featured a range of interactive engagement activities, including mentorship lounges, where students connected with industry professionals for career guidance, and a personality self-test, helping them gain deeper insights into their strengths and career preferences.
