PESHAWAR: The annual examinations under Kanz-ul-Madaris Board, the educational board of the global religious movement Dawat-e-Islami, are underway across Pakistan, including in a Jamia — Islamic seminary— in Peshawar.
A press release said, according to the schedule of the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board, the exams commenced nationwide on February 1.In Peshawar, the examination process is going on at Jamia Faizan-e-Gharib Nawaz.
Across Pakistan, a total of 90,417 students are appearing for exams in Tajweed and Qira’at, Dars-e-Nizami, Takhasusat (specialized studies), and Kuliyat-ush-Shariah.As many as 69,501 students are taking exams for Nazrah Quran and Hifz-ul-Quran.
For short courses such as the Imamat Course and Faizan-e-Shari’ah Course, 8,393 students are participating. In total, 168,449 candidates are appearing for the exams under the Kanz-ul-Madaris Board this year. To facilitate the examinations, 786 centres have been set up nationwide, with 3,758 staff members overseeing the process, added the press release.
