DIR: Regional Police Officer, Malakand Range, Sher Akbar Khan visited various police stations in Upper Dir district, including the Barawal and Dir City police stations.
He conducted a detailed review of the security arrangements for polio teams near the Pak-Afghan border. According to Dir police, the RPO visited the police stations and reviewed the security measures for polio teams. SP Investigation Akbar Shinwari was also present on the occasion.
During the visit, the DPO Upper Dir briefed the RPO Malakand on the overall security situation, law and order and polio security in the district.Speaking on the occasion, the RPO said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police were a brave and sacrificing force that had always put the protection of people’s lives and property above their own lives. “All available resources are being utilised to protect the lives and property of the people and the polio teams,” he added.
