200 ventilators purchased for teaching hospitals

LAHORE :The Specialised Health Care and Medical Education Department (SHC&MED) has purchased new ventilators for the improvement of government teaching hospitals.
SHC&MED Secretary Azmat Mahmood said that a total of 200 Elisa 300 model ICU ventilators worth 1.73 million euros have been purchased from a German company. These ventilators will be sent to all teaching government hospitals in February. He said that the SHC&MED is trying to provide the best health facilities to the public.
