MANSEHRA: The body of a 10-year-old boy, who had gone missing three days ago, was found in a small cave within a dense forest in the Dor Mera area of Torghar.
“We have recovered the mutilated body and shifted it to a nearby health facility for an autopsy,” Tariq Hussain, the SHO of Dor Mera Police Station, told reporters on Saturday.
According to the FIR, Mohammad Rehman, the son of Sikandar Khan, had gone to collect firewood from the nearby jungle in the morning but failed to return home by 3pm.
“The family began searching for him in the jungle and eventually found his body in the forest,” Hussain said.
He added that medico-legal formalities had been completed, and an investigation had been launched to determine the exact cause of the murder.
