ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted the petitioner time until January 30 to provide proof of the money trail during the hearing of a petition filed by Dr. Tashfin Khan, a citizen, against a NAB call-up notice.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani remarked that proving the money trail is difficult. He said that even former chief justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa could not present proof of the money trail.The petition, filed by Dr. Tashfin Khan against the NAB call-up notice, was heard in the IHC on Monday. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani presided over the hearing.The petitioner’s lawyer said the money was taken out of the country legally and that the money trail was available.

Justice Kiyani responded, “Bring proof of the money trail, then I will accept the plea.”He said, “Proving the money trail is a very difficult task. Even Qazi Faez Isa could not present proof of the money trail.”The court adjourned the hearing of the case until January 30.
