3-day Furniture Expo begins at LCWU
LAHORE:Furniture Design Expo 2025 kicked off at the Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) here on Monday.
Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lahore President Mrs Falahat Imran inaugurated the three-day exhibition. The exhibition was organised by the Visual Arts Department, Khadija tul Kubra Incubation Centre K-BIC and representatives of HESSA-USAID. Lahore College for Women University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Uzma Qureshi said that the Business Incubation Centre was focusing on capacity building and entrepreneurship of female students in collaboration with various departments. The academia-industry linkage was of utmost importance for educational institutions as well as for industry. Head of Visual Department Lahore Prof Dr Masooma Abbas said that the aim of the exhibition was to bring out the talents of female students.
