Nine hurt in gas cylinder explosion at Lyari house

At least nine people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at a house in Lyari on Saturday. The incident took place near Bismillah Masjid, Murghi Wali Gali in the Mira Naka area.
Following the blast, police and rescue workers reached the house and took the casualties to Dr Ruth KM Pfau Civil Hospital Karachi. All the victims belong to the Baloch community. The Chakiwara police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Police said the explosion occurred at around 9:40pm. The injured have been identified as Waris Siraj, 1, Aizal Muslim, 2, Abdullah Razzaq Siraj, 4, Siraj Munir Ahmad, 7, Areeba Siraj, 8, Adil Munir Ahmad, 14, Kanwal Muslim, 25, Hina Saeed, 34, and Munir Ahmad, 60.
