PTI leaders demand release of party founder
PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders on Thursday said that former prime minister Imran Khan had the capabilities to steer the country and nation out of the prevailing crises.
“Pakistan is currently isolated, as neither China nor any other country is supporting it,” PTI leader and lawmaker Fazal Illahi told a press conference after Quran Khwani held at the Peshawar Press Club for the release of party founder Imran Khan.
He said that Imran Khan was a great leader and he could save the nation and country from present morass.The MPA said that the facts of the Al-Qadir Trust case were known to everyone and appealed to the judiciary to conduct an investigation into this matter before making any decisions.
He suggested that the Chief Justice of Pakistan should personally visit the Al-Qadir Trust to uncover the truth where teachings of Islam would be imparted.He said that PTI workers remained united and were demanding immediate release of Imran Khan. He said that they would stage protest sit-ins for the release of the party founder.
Member National Assembly Asif Khan and Provincial Assembly Member Anwar Zeb Khan said that the letter from the National Crimes UK should be made public, and a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) should be formed to investigate the letter.They added that the real beneficiaries of the Al-Qadir Trust should be revealed, as Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were only trustees and members, not the main beneficiaries.
