CDA employees’ referendum

Islamabad : The National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) has announced February 6 (Thursday) as the date for the much-anticipated referendum, where approximately 11,900 employees of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) will cast their votes to elect the collective bargaining agent (CBA).
In a statement, the CDA Mazdoor Union highlighted their role in challenging the referendum following the expiration of the CBA's term. General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Yasin, President Aurangzeb Khan, Chairman Raja Shakir Zaman Kayani, and Supreme Head Mirza Saeed Akhtar expressed their confidence in the process.
