KP govt’s helicopter carries relief supplies to Kurram
On Sunday, five flights of provincial government’s MI-17 helicopter were carried out to Kurram
PESHAWAR: On the directives of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, the provincial government’s helicopter service on Sunday conducted five flights to Kurram district to carry relief supplies and transport the local people, according to a government spokesperson.
On Sunday, five flights of the provincial government’s MI-17 helicopter were carried out to Kurram. The first flight delivered 1,500 kilograms of medicines from Peshawar to Sadda, along with transporting three individuals to Sadda, said CM’s spokesperson Faraz Mughal.
In the second flight, six people were transported from Sadda to Alizai. The third flight facilitated the transfer of 43 people from Alizai to Thall, along with 200 kilograms of essential supplies.
The fourth flight transported 22 people and an additional 200 kilograms of supplies from Thall to Alizai. The fifth and final flight of the day airlifted 40 people along with their belongings from Alizai to Peshawar, Mughal added.
In total, the provincial helicopter service provided air transport to 114 individuals and delivered vital supplies in a single day, reaffirming the government’s commitment to addressing the urgent needs of residents in Kurram.
