KARACHI: Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization & Communications Abdul Aleem Khan met with Nur Gokman, chairperson of Turkiye’s Pegasus Airlines and business organization Hitit, to discuss expanding business-to-business (B2B) activities between the two nations.
During the meeting, Gokman talked about Turkiye’s interest in increasing its involvement in Pakistan’s business landscape, particularly within industries such as aviation. Hitit, a major player in the Turkish market with partnerships spanning over 70 airlines, expressed strong interest in investing here.
Khan welcomed the proposition, highlighting the historically strong relations between Pakistan and Turkiye and the deep ties between the people of both countries. He said that the country is undergoing large-scale reforms in various sectors, including communications, and is actively encouraging foreign investment.
