LAHORE: Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved three development schemes worth over Rs5 billion on Friday.
The approval was made in the 57th meeting of the PDWP. The meeting was chaired by Planning and Development (P&D) Board Chairman Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan. Planning and Development (P&D) Board Secretary Dr Asif Tufail, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials attended the meeting.
The approved schemes included construction of a flyover on GT Road Chan Da Qila Chowk, District Gujranwala at the cost of Rs1.349 billion, construction of a carpet road from Nowshera Virkan to Hafizabad via Nathu Siwiya Buggay, including Khan Musalman bypass, District Gujranwala at the cost of Rs1.230 billion and rehabilitation/improvement of Faisalabad Satiana-Tandlianwala Mari Pattan Okara Road, (Section from Chamraill Jhall to Maripattan), District Faisalabad at the cost of Rs2.963 billion.
